Standards & Guidelines – Introduction
AABH members always have access to the interactive Standards and Leadership Guide as a member benefit. For those who are not members but would like a copy of the current Standards and Guidelines, we are pleased to offer the most updated electronic copy of the AABH Professional Standards and Guidelines, compiled by many hardworking professionals affiliated with our organization.
AABH has released the Professional 2024 Standards and Guidelines for Partial Hospitalization Programs and Intensive Outpatient Programs. These guidelines have incorporated the core features of Intermediate Behavioral Healthcare into a more concise document. This edition draws from the real-time version of the Standards and Guidelines for all members accessed through the member resource portal. The web interface makes this a living document that doesn’t require AABH Members to wait for a new release of the updated Standards and Guidelines. An electronic copy of the Standards and Guidelines is still released every three years. This edition also includes sections that address specific requirements related to populations that have unique needs in treatment.
Specialty Populations Include:
- Children and Adolescents
- Older Adults
- Dual Diagnosis
- Chemical Dependency
- Eating Disorders
If you’re looking at starting a new program or just keeping up to date, the Standards and Guidelines is a must have!
REMINDER: AABH Members have access to the interactive Standards and Leadership Guide as part of the member benefits.
