The Scarritt-Bennett Conference Center
Scarritt Bennett Center is a nonprofit conference, retreat, and education center in Nashville, TN. Our mission is to create space where individuals and groups engage each other to achieve a more just world.
NOTE:
AABH is doing the conference a new way this year. We are not having the event at a hotel. While we have arranged for a block of rooms at a key hotel, you can book rooms anywhere you would like. We negotiated a fixed rate at only one hotel, so you're on your own if you choose a different hotel, AirBNB or other option. Scarritt- Bennett Center also offers housing on site that is residential dorm style as outlined below.
Where to Stay
There are several hotels within walking distance of Scarritt Bennett Conference Center, but we recommend one of the two options below.
OPTION 1: Hotel Partner - Embassy Suites at Vanderbilt
AABH has secured a block of rooms at the Embassy Suites near the Scarritt-Bennet Center. They have a limited number of rooms on hold, but you can book until they run out of rooms.

OPTION 2: Scarritt Bennett Residential Housing
Overnight, residence style accommodation for up to 120 people are available in three Gothic-style buildings. These are similar to academic housing with shared spaces.
The majority of our Guest Rooms are single occupancy with one twin size bed. Each room shares a restroom with the adjoining guestroom.
All guestrooms are pre-blocked per request or by gender due to our unique suitemate situation.
We do not have elevators in any of the Overnight Sleeping Buildings. Please be sure to consider anyone that requires a first-floor room.
Check in is at 4:00pm and check out is at 10:00am
Overnight rooms start at $105.96 for a twin bed with a shared bath. (The listed prices include required county fees and Tn sales Tax)
We also have full sized beds - $117.59 (Shared bath)
And a few Queen at $129.21 (Shared bath)
There would also be a one-time cleaning fee of $25.00 applied to all overnight reservations.
